Here's an early test of my faux photogrammetry technique using part of my living room as a subject:

And another preview render... you can see I've added the organ-playing instrument, or at least a simplified recreation of it.  And yes, that's a church bulletin, a hymnal, and a box of tissue paper.  I think there need to be some details like those to make a CG scene feel more realistic.
