Missio Dei Houston is a small apartment church comprised of many young adults from Redeemer Episcopal.  Meetings are currently held in a Pasadena apartment complex.

Missio Dei's sermons are delivered by Mark Ball, who was at one point an interim leader in Redeemer Episcopal, and (before that) youth pastor there.

Missio Dei has currently participated in Advent Conspiracy, attempting to fund well construction in impoverished countries so that people will have access to clean water.

Fun fact: I'm testing a simple episodic multimedia something-or-other based on Missio Dei.

I could describe it as a point-and-click mini-adventure game or an interactive comic book or something-or-other.
Has very little substance to it though.  The plot is simple thus far, verging on nonexistent:

Jason is a nice guy who would like to leave his apartment to go help Missio Dei raise funds for charitable causes.  But right now he has no money with him to give, and he can't remember where he left his car keys anyway.  Find the following items - a coin, and car keys - then head out the door.

The first episode took me about 3-4 hours to throw together so it's not exactly a polished piece of work.  Mostly it's just a way of 'practicing' on a short cartoon test, before the launch of Scouter Stan on the Troop 4 website.

Still, if you're interested in my little Missio Dei experiment, you can take a look at it here.
